Open Positions

Design & Content Creator 

The Design & Content, working independently and as part of a team, is responsible for managing Alliance For Children’s marketing strategies, graphic design production, and social media needs. Serves as part of the team overseeing all agency community awareness needs and promotional and collateral materials, working to engage community members in, and create awareness and passion for, the mission and work of Alliance For Children.

Job Duties/Essential Functions:

Marketing and Graphic Design

  • Design, create, and deliver Alliance For Children print and electronic marketing materials across programs including, but not limited to community awareness, fundraising, and programmatic pieces. Specifically, this could include, but is not limited to: special events, agency/program brochures and materials, Annual Appeal, Annual Report, and Child Abuse Prevention Month materials.
  • Uphold a strong brand presence within the organization that is also recognized throughout the community, identifying different opportunities to market the mission and work of Alliance For Children.
  • Designs and produces materials to elevate Alliance For Children’s profile, including developing concepts/designs, printed materials, logos, and various marketing collateral; adapts designs for web, social media, and other digital platforms.
  • Maintains Alliance For Children’s brand consistency by communicating best practices and providing graphics that support visual standards.
  • Collaborates with Alliance For Children’s staff by providing clear communication and follow-up to ensure all work aligns with brand strategy.
  • Designs, develops, and delivers graphics, visual text, and imagery for social media and marketing content.
  • Plans, shoots, and edits photographic content for print, social media, and digitial platforms; photographs Alliance For Children events and captures special projects as needed.
  • Create new avenues for promoting Alliance For Children, by coordinating the implementation of marketing plans, campaigns, and strategies that will further our mission and messaging.
  • Perform other related duties as requested by immediate supervisor or the Chief Executive Officer.

Content Creator/Social Media/Media Communications

  • Development of copy and idea creation resulting in engaging, informative content.
  • Responsible for the creation, delivery, and pre-planning of electronic newsletters and communication on various social media channels occurring on a regular, reoccurring basis.
  • Drive a proactive, timely media presence. Manage online media activities, including social media and e-newsletters. Responsible for the recruitment, accuracy, and design of all media utilized.
  • Comments/communication with social media interactions in an appropriate, timely and reasonably responsive manner.
  • Build and maintain meaningful relationships with local media outlets to create new and reoccurring media opportunities for Alliance For Children. Maintain regular communication with media outlets regarding special events, stories of special interest, new programs, case interest, etc.
  • Perform other related duties as requested by immediate supervisor or the Chief Executive Officer.

Community Engagement

  • Coordinate with the Advancement, Volunteer and Community Education Teams in the development and identity of newopportunities for Alliance For Children.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community liaisons and donors, both individuals and groups as well as fiscal and in-kind, that share the mission of Alliance For Children.
  • Attend community group meetings and events to promote AllianceFor Children and increase awareness and support.
  • Represent Alliance For Children by serving on collaborative committees within the community that will increase awareness and brand recognition for the agency and its mission.
  • Coordinate with the Advancement Team to assist with and raise awareness and support for all client affinity programs and all-size fundraisers.
  • Request in-kind donations and services from area businesses/organizations/individuals to support the work of Alliance For Children.
  • Coordinate with the Advancement and Volunteer Teams to establish and oversee Alliance For Children l ed community work groups/committees to enhance the services of Alliance For Children.
  • Attend and visually document all special events and client affinity program events executed by the Advancement Team.
  • Develop and perform public speaking opportunities to share the mission and purpose of Alliance For Children.
  • Coordinate with the Advancement and Community Education Teams to oversee Child Abuse Prevention Month efforts.
  • Give tours of Alliance For Children centers to help educate the public about the mission and work ofthe agency.
  • Perform other related duties as requested by immediate supervisor or the Chief Executive Officer.
 
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Strategic Communications, or Media/Communications preferred.
  • 2 or more years’ experience or internship in social services field, marketing, and/or non-profit organization required.
  • Strong communication and networking skills; team player.
  • High level verbal and written communications skills.
  • Ability to maintain multiple projects at one time with high efficiency.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong organizational skills; self-starter with a can-do attitude.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent graphic design and editing skills, with the ability to present previous design pieces or a working portfolio.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong creative and innovative mindset.
  • Video capturing and editing skills a plus.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and present in a positive, professional manner at all times.

Director of Clinical Services - Full-time

The Director of Clinical Services is responsible for the overall direction and management of all clinical services within Alliance For Children. This will include direct service oversight, establishment of best practice models, compliance, and optimal outcomes.

Job Duties/Essential Functions:
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate Clinical services and procedures to improve client outcome.
  • Determining workloads and schedules, evaluating staff performance, providing training, and making hiring, promotion, and disciplinary recommendations as needed.
  • Ensure clinicians are trained and show fidelity in the modalities that Alliance For Children utilizes while monitoring the effectiveness and efficiency of services.
  • Oversee budgeting and financial management of clinical services.
  • Ensure uniformity within each Alliance For Children location.
  • Formulate and review all Clinical protocols and procedures.
  • Ensure clinical services meet the standards for Children’s Advocacy Centers as outlined in the Texas Family Code, standards guidelines as directed by Children’s Advocacy Centers of Texas, and local MDT protocols.
  • Consistently attend multidisciplinary case staffing meetings to observe potential referrals, partner engagement, and service delivery.
  • Attend all applicable leadership meetings, including the Interagency Committee, Senior Leadership, Director’s, Department leadership, and any additional meetings as requested to ensure cohesion and teamwork.
  • Oversee PSB (problematic sexual behavior) client services in conjunction with Lena Pope.
  • Handle all general inquiries coming from website and phone calls.
  • Develop and maintain interagency relationships between local law enforcement, Department of Family and Protective Services, Tarrant County Criminal District Attorney’s Office, local medical organizations, and Alliance For Children.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with other Child Advocacy Center clinical leaders as well as Mental Health organizations and services in Tarrant County.
  • Serve as the agency lead in attendance and support of project development for the Mental Health Connection.
  • Oversee and recruit clinical associates seeking hours for full clinical licensure for the PAL Program by fostering community and institutional relationships to build and sustain a pipeline of potential participants.
  • Participate in future research projects and publication opportunities pertaining to clinical services.
  • Meet regularly with the Chief Program Officer for supervision and service oversight.
  • Accept special assignments and/or duties as assigned by the Chief Program Officer or Chief Executive Officer.
  • Support the overall mission of Alliance For Children and each program within the agency structure by working collectively and cohesively with other management team members, demonstrating and modeling a positive, collaborative work environment.
 
Minimum Requirements:
  • Master’s degree required in counseling, social work, or related field.
  • Approved Clinical Supervisor (LPC-S, LCSW-S, or LMFT-S).
  • Experience working within a multidisciplinary team, preferably the Children’s Advocacy Center model.
  • Minimum of five years’ supervisory experience working with clinicians or institutions of higher learning in direct practice with abused children and protective family members.
  • At least 10 years of therapeutic experience working with abused children and protective family members.
  • Certification in an evidence-based trauma specific modality; TF-CBT or EMDR preferred.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and proof of liability insurance.
  • Must successfully complete criminal and civil background checks.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and present in a positive, professional manner at all times.
  • Must be able to handle difficult, possibly graphic case details.
  • Understanding of the Children’s Advocacy Center model and child abuse investigative process.
  • Able to maintain composure and professionalism under pressure of deadlines.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.

Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) Coordinator - Fort Worth 

The MDT Coordinator will provide MDT case coordination to facilitate services for the benefit of children and families impacted by abuse, neglect or violent crimes. 

Job Duties/Essential Functions:
  • Assess referrals for appropriate cases recommended for MDT services (as per MDT Protocol case criteria) throughout the official service area of the MDT/CAC.
  • Review, screen and, when appropriate, act on Statewide Intake Reports and share law enforcement offense reports.
  • Improve coordination of investigative activities and provision of services for appropriate cases (per MDT Protocol case criteria) throughout official service area to the MDT/CAC.
  • Facilitate generation of CPI/CCL/APS/law enforcement reports as needed.
  • One call coordination of CST cases.
  • Maintain case related data.
  • Expedite the scheduling of forensic interviews and initation of joint investigations.
  • Provide encouragement and support to the MDT process.
  • Coordinate, organize, plan, facilitate, and participate in team appreciation events and projects.
  • Meet reporting deadlines as needed for Team Relations Program.
  • Attend MDT case staffing meetings when appropriate.
  • Participate in one fundraising or special service event per year.
  • Perform other related duties as requested by immediate supervisor, Director of Training and Team Relations, Chief Program Officer, or Chief Executive Officer. 
 
Minimum Requirements:
  • Some college preferred.
  • Two years demonstrated relevant work experience, including work with families at risk preferred.
  • Strong reading and evaluative skills required.
  • Able to be organized, detail-oriented, and self-prioritize.
  • Able to evaluate case information.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and proof of liability insurance.
  • Must pass criminal and civil background checks.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and present in a postive, professional manner at all times.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.

General Internships

Interns who work at Alliance For Children not only work in a therapeutic setting, but can also be given the opportunity to work closely with law enforcement, the Tarrant County Criminal District Attorney’s Office, and the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services. *Alliance For Children internships are not paid, and employment is not guaranteed upon successful completion.

The following general internships are provided through our Administration, Community Education, Clinical, Family Advocate, and Team Relations Program at all Alliance For Children locations, as well as with our Advancement team located at our Fort Worth Center:

General Internship Requirements:
•    All applicants must submit a resume, complete an application and provide three (3) professional references.
•    All interns must pass a criminal, DFPSs, and sex offender registry background check.
•    Students must be willing to work some evenings and weekends and be able to provide their own transportation amongst all three Alliance For Children locations.
•    All interns will attend specific training for their placement as well as child sexual abuse prevention training prior to working with clients.
•    Students must commit to one semester at Alliance For Children.
•    Students must commit to 15 hours each week.
•    Students will agree to participate in weekly supervision with their supervisor.

Clinical Therapy Internship 

Alliance For Children also offers Clinical Therapy Internships within our Clinical Program. In addition to the above General Internship Requirements, this department-specific internship also requires that:  
•    Applicants must be seeking a master’s level degree in social work, counseling or a related field.
•    Students must have completed practicum and coursework in counseling theories prior to placement.
•    Interns must be willing to work with clients of all ages in a therapeutic and/or group setting.
•    Must attend a monthly Clinical Team meeting.
•    Students must commit to two semesters at Alliance For Children.
