Every holiday season, Alliance For Children collects completed Thanksgiving Baskets for families who have received services through our agency. 

You can create a Thankful Thanksgiving in the lives of these families by supporting our Thanksgiving Assistance Program! There are several different ways to be a part of providing a Thanksgiving meal to the families we serve.

First, pre-filled Thanksgiving baskets are needed.  We serve 300 families each holiday season.  You can provide baskets (large wicker, straw or laundry baskets) for one family or several families. Contact one of the centers for a list of items for the baskets.

Second, gift certificates from local grocery stores are needed for turkeys. Due to lack of storage space and the necessity for ease in preparation, we are unable to accept frozen or fresh turkeys.

Third, monetary donations and store gift certificates are needed to assist in purchasing the food, baskets, and turkeys for the families.
