Alliance for Children a children's advocacy center

There are opportunities to volunteer in the center in a number of ways. 

There are times when the center may need help at the front desk, greeting clients and answering the phones.  You may have the opportunity to supervise children in the play area and help with craft projects and games.  You may also have a chance to work with the development department with database and filing. 

Alliance for Children also offers group therapy during the evening and there will be opportunities to sit with the siblings while the parents and victims of abuse are in counseling. 

Volunteers can also assist in Center Beautification Projects such as planting flowers, and cleaning center grounds. Cleaning and organizing of the inside of the center as well as seasonal decorating of the Alliance for Children can also be done.
